TENTATIVE Events Schedule

03:20 PM – Tsuna-yose

03:55 PM – Kanuchichiji Ceremony

Participants hold the Kanuchichiji ceremony to connect a ”male” rope of the east side with a ”female” rope of the west side. Kanuchibo is 365 centimeters long and weighs 365 kilograms, and is strong enough to withstand thousands of contestants.

04:05 PM – Shitaku-Yose

Historical figures from the Kingdom of the Ryukyus, such as Shohashi and Amawari, are carried on a Shitaku (Movable stage) from both sides to the center. They perform a brave performance, and finally the Tug of War begins.

04:25 PM – Tug of War begins
